Can I use my own sounds in Beatcraft? What about sounds from a sample CD?

Any compatible .WAV, .MP3, .WMA, or .OGG sound file can be used by Beatcraft as an instrument sample. There are two easy ways to load your own sounds.

  1. Double click on a track to open the "Open An Audio File" dialog. Use this dialog to locate and select the audio file you wish to use.
  2. Use the Explorer pane of Beatcraft to locate the audio file you wish to use, then drag that file from the Explorer onto a track.
  3. Sounds that reside on a disk/cd in .cda format must be ripped to your hard drive into a compatible format before importing into Beatcraft. Even if your cd contains wav, mp3, ogg or wma files, it is recommeded that you copy them to a permanent location on your hard drive before importing into Beatcraft.
